On 27 February 2023, Aranya commemorated the Buddha’s Renunciation Day with a Sangha Offering ceremony at Jue Yin Buddhist Association.
More than 40 Buddhist monastics who are based in the community accepted offerings of a vegetarian meal, fruits and food. For the monastics who were present, they rejoiced in the joyful and meritorious atmosphere while interacting with Sangha members to foster stronger fellowship bonds.
This is the third commemoration since Aranya formed in 2020. Over the years, the community-based monastics have gotten to know each other more and it was such a joyous atmosphere as they continued their fellowship. 21 volunteers were at hand to support the event too.
