More than 80 beneficiaries graced the Ullambana Festival Sangha Offering event at Tse Tho Aum Temple on Saturday 24 August 2024. 235 participants joined in the offering procession, with the involvement of 181 volunteers. Aranya’s co-founders, Venerable Wei Zhi and Venerable Chuan Yu also introduced Venerable Adhibalo as a newly appointed Board member.
As part of Singapore Buddhist Youth Day celebration, youth participants had the opportunity to interact with our beneficiaries for more than two hours. They had a better understanding of why the monastics choose to live outside the monastery and how they continue to maintain the spirit of renunciation, regardless of the challenges.
